Electronic Billing in Public Administration
On April 18, Directive 2014/55 / ​​EU enters into force. About Nav provides the solution for this requirement. Deadlines to be taken into account:
• Obligation to adapt public administrations: On April 18, Portuguese public administrations and public bodies must have their information systems adapted to the electronic invoicing model. This period extends until 18/04/2020 in the case of public administrations at the local level.
• Obligation for suppliers (large): The deadline for issuing electronic invoices for this group of companies will be April 2020.
• Mandatory for SMEs and micro-enterprises: The deadline for adoption of companies not registered in the previous group will be 12/31/2020.
